Save Money on Your Next Trip to Paris

By Steve Alexander

Many people are put off visiting Paris as it has a reputation for being a pretty expensive city. If you want to visit the French capital though and save money at the same time, it's a good idea to know a few money-saving tips.

Anyone can be special offers if they look hard enough, especially at the Disneyland Park at various points throughout the year. If you aren't too fussy about when you visit it's always worth waiting for the next offer period. Before booking though, it's always a good idea to do a thorough internet search for the best deals.

If you buy your park tickets in advance instead of paying at the main gate and you can save a packet and skip the queues into the bargain. This way you can also take advantage of special offers and promotions such as free extra days, meal deals and entry discounts. Booking well in advance will also save you money on your flights and enable you to find the best hotel deals going too.

Avoid the school holidays at all costs if you want to save even more money. During the summer months, prices shoot up and you'll find much cheaper hotel deals and quieter attractions if you travel outside these dates.

Anyone wanting to visit the Disneyland Park should check out the range of affordable hotels located just outside the gates, many of which are still close to RER stations. Staying inside Disneyland can be quite expensive so you'll save a small fortune if you expand the geographical area of your search criteria.

Buying little extras at the park throughout the day can often add up so it's a good idea to do a spot of forward planning. One great tip is to buy a bottle of water before entering the Disneyland Park and fill it up over the course of the day. It'll save loads of cash and is a real life (and wallet) saver during the hot summer months.
