Contributions Of The Self Realization Studies To Other Disciplines

By Shari Swanson

The self realization studies have helped a lot of people tremendously. The people who participated saw significant improvement in their lives. And it is not just in one aspect of their life but in almost all.

The positive effects it had on their lives were enormous and encompassing. Not only did their relationships with other people improve, but also their overall health. It was found out that they saw improvement in their health.

Yes, you become more aware of yourself than before. This awareness enables you to identify certain energies that you never though you had. The goal of the techniques is to direct this energy into positive utilization.

Your awareness then will spring so many realizations. There will be acknowledgment of one's capacity and weakness. This is where the use of the techniques will come in. Use the techniques to direct negative energy out from the body and the positive energy to shine out of you, directly affecting your environment and other people.

It has to come from you. Because if you do not understand the repercussions of this malady, nothing will happen. Nothing will improve until you become aware of your inner being. This awareness does not only allow you to understand yourself better but it can make you understand your purpose.

This is what is taught in yoga classes. Since people live in a fast paced life, they easily get stressed out. Some do not know how to handle them. It affected their body. In fact, the effects are more pronounced in the emotional and psychological aspect in the life of a person.

Say for example, you have an illness and you have been dealing with this for long time. You thought this will never get cured. If you understood better what is within you all along, you would not be thinking as hopelessly as that. Because you knew that you have power within you to overcome this feeling of defeat. The Self realization studies allow people to understand better of their purpose in life.
